About Me

The Story of IceBox

I started driving a truck in 2006, shortly after my oldest son was born. At the time, trucking was simply a way to provide for my family. I thought my story would be about building a life at home, raising kids, and working hard on the road to keep it all together. But as the years went on, I realized the family life I had envisioned wasn’t the path God had for me.

During the 2008 recession, when so many people were struggling, I found myself searching for a deeper purpose beyond just paying bills. That’s when I began volunteering with Operation Roger, a nonprofit that pairs truck drivers with the mission of transporting rescue animals to new homes. What started as just lending a hand became a life-changing experience. I also began creating content—little videos and posts to share the mission of the nonprofit. At first, it was just about spreading awareness, but God began to show me that media could be a tool for ministry, encouragement, and community.

Over time, I started making more and more content—sometimes sharing the beauty of the open road, sometimes offering trucking tips, and sometimes just having fun with humor to brighten someone’s day. Slowly, my audience grew. People I never met would reach out to say a video made them laugh when they needed it most, or encouraged them to keep pushing through a tough season. And I realized… this was more than just trucking. This was a way to connect, to serve, to minister—even through a phone screen.

Now in 2025, I’m still driving, still creating, but with a bigger purpose and a bigger audience than I ever imagined. My heart has shifted over the years: what began as a job has become a platform, and what began as a platform has become a ministry. My ultimate goal is to fully commit to doing God’s work—whether that’s sharing hope on the road, making someone laugh at the right moment, or using my voice and experience to help others.

I don’t have it all figured out, but I know one thing for sure: God has been faithful to lead me step by step. What started with a truck and a need to provide has turned into a journey of service, creativity, and faith. And my prayer is that everything I do points back to Him and helps others along the way.
